Volunteer Task Force (VTF) works with volunteer groups in the service area of gardening.
Volunteer Task Force (VTF) works with corporate groups to help them fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility policies and their team building exercises. Many companies now give their employees one or two days paid leave to participate in volunteer/community work.
If you are a corporate group looking for a volunteer opportunity, please call or email us and we can arrange a gardening day for you. Gardening volunteers meet at 8 am at one of our four depots and, depending on the size of the group, travel in VTF vehicles with our coordinators, or follow the group in their own transport. A gardening day usually consists of visits to four or five client gardens. Volunteers and staff provide a basic gardening service that helps the client to live safely and comfortably in their home.
Gardening volunteers are asked to wear closed in, comfortable shoes/boots/trainers and comfortable clothes they are happy to get dirty. We recommend sunscreen and a hat and ask volunteers to please bring a packed lunch and water.

Church and social groups
Groups are welcome to join VTF for ad hoc or regular volunteer gardening days. Many groups can only attend on weekends. VTF endeavours to meet this request through Saturday gardening days once a month.
Please CONTACT US for details and to make arrangements for your group.
Note: All groups are asked to supply details of each person and a police check will be carried out for each person.
