Our Volunteer Task Force home maintenance service helps people to remain safe and secure in their own homes. Our staff can:
- change light bulbs
- check security
- carry out minor carpentry and repairs
- install smoke alarms
- replace small items like door locks, tiles.
Our Home Maintenance officer provides the services, sometimes assisted by a volunteer. There may be a waiting time for non-urgent work in some areas.
Are you eligible?
VTF services are available to people with an ongoing medical condition or a disability who are on a pension and living in their own home. If you would like to receive a VTF service you will need to be assessed for eligibility.
