Volunteer Task Force is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation committed to providing services for the local community. Our purpose is to ensure people of limited financial, social and physical capacity will be able to live in safety, with amenity and comfort in surroundings of their choosing. We also place great importance on the valuable contribution volunteers make to society.

Volunteer Task Force Inc. has recently announced that they will be merging with Community First International and Care Options Inc. to create a bigger, stronger, WA-based care organisation. Our new organisation will deliver care and services to over 10,000 clients across metropolitan and regional WA with a 400-strong workforce and over 600 volunteers.

We are looking for Volunteer Gardeners to assist with our gardening program. We currently have weekday vacancies working from our Wanneroo and North Perth Depots and weekend vacancies working from our Wanneroo, North Perth and Carlisle Depots. Summer hours work from 7.30am to 2.30pm and transport from our depots is available.

If you have a Driver’s Licence and car with comprehensive insurance and would like to assist our clients with shopping, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteers drive clients to their preferred shopping area and help with their shopping for 2-3 hours per fortnight. Vacancies are now available to assist clients in the Fremantle and Success areas.

We are now recruiting for Volunteer Transport Drivers to assist our clients who are frail aged people and younger people with a disability. A clean driving record and experience driving a people-mover type vehicle is required. The position is offered at the Carlisle Depot, and training and support is offered.

Volunteers take time to chat, read to a client or play a game. This once-a-fortnight service lasts for up to two hours. If you would like to visit one of our clients who is frail, elderly or has a disability on a regular basis, please contact the office.

If you are a corporate group looking for a volunteer/team building opportunity, please contact us and we can arrange a day of gardening for you. Gardening volunteers meet at one of our four depots and, depending on the size of the group, travel in VTF vehicles with our coordinators, or follow the group in their own transport.

VTF offers regular and fun volunteer events, as well as training and reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses for all its volunteers.

Please call the office on 9318 5700

or email volunteering@volunteertaskforce.org.au

if you are interested in applying for any of the above volunteer positions.
